Exhibition Dates: 02.13.16 - 02.21.16
Opening Reception: Saturday, February 13th, 2017 | 6-10pm

Matthew Rachman Gallery and the National Trust for Historic Preservation thank you for your support of our special Valentine’s event, “For the Love of Farnsworth: A Celebration to Benefit Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House.”

Libations are being served courtesy of Solemn Oath Brewery (Naperville), as well as 5 courses of heavy hors d’oeuvres from Ate 3 Four underground supper club (Ukrainian Village). There will also be live performances by original composer Owen Clayton Condon (Chicago), and an introduction by our special guests: leading preservation architect and 2010 Chicagoan of the Year, Gunny Harboe, and Dirk Lohan, award-winning architect, designer and grandson of Mies van der Rohe.

In addition, the gallery will exhibit a specially-curated collection of Farnsworthian art. The exhibition features artwork by Kate Joyce, Tom Judd, Natasha Kohli, Luftwerk, Belinda Preno, Krista Svalbonas and Glenn Wexler, and will be on display at Matthew Rachman Gallery through Sunday, February 21. Ten percent of all art sales throughout the duration of the exhibition will directly benefit the Farnsworth House.

Proceeds from tickets sales directly benefit the Farnsworth House.
