Jeffrey Cortland Jones is a contemporary artist interested in paradoxes. 

His work has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the United States. His work has been featured in the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, the NIAD Art Center, and the Brooklyn Art Library among other institutions and galleries. Jones lives in Southwest Ohio where he is a professor at the University of Dayton heading the painting program. In addition to making work, Jones also actively curates exhibitions at a number of galleries and alternative spaces including DIVISIBLE, a project space he co-founded in 2014.

His work is represented by Angela Meleca Gallery, Columbus, OH; Galleri Urbane, Dallas + Marfa, TX; Gallery IMA, Seattle, WA; Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, New York, NY; and TW Fine Art, Brisbane, Australia.
